Navigating the Financial Review Dashboard

Learn how to use Financial Review dashboard functions and filters to create new forms, locate existing forms, check on their status, and complete other actions such as editing and downloading.

Accessing the Financial Review Dashboard

Log In: To get started, go to dodeagrants.org, click on the Grantee Login button in the top right corner of the homepage, and sign into your account.

 

Financial Review Page: Select Financial Review in the horizontal navigation menu across the top of your account page. 

Note: This section of the website is only accessible to those registered with a Project Director or Finance Staff role account.

 

Creating a New Form

Add New Form: To create a form, click the Add New Form button in the top center of the page above the filters. Then select the form you want from the dropdown menu that appears.

 

Using Search Filters

Select Filters: Use the filters panel at the top center of the Financial Review page to search for forms by any combination of the following categories:

  • Award Year
  • Form Type
  • Date of submission
  • Date of last saved
  • Date of approval
  • Status

Note: The date-dependent filters receive inputs in MM/DD/YYYY format. The filters marked with down arrows (v) open dropdown menus when selected.

 

Apply: Once you have input your filter selections, click this button to pull up the results. 

Reset: If you want to start over, click this button to clear your current filter selections.

 

Statuses

Forms are organized and filterable by the following statuses:

  • Draft: Forms that have been created and saved but not yet submitted.
  • Submitted: Forms that have been submitted to DoDEA for review.
  • Approved: Forms that have been reviewed and approved by DoDEA Grants staff.
  • Rejected: Forms that have been reviewed by DoDEA Grants staff and require changes before approval. Note: If the report is rejected, the grantee may make the needed changes and resubmit the report. 
  • Resubmitted: Forms that were rejected upon initial review and were subsequently updated based on feedback and sent back to DoDEA Grants staff for a second round of review.

 

Using Dashboard Actions

View: Click the View button next to forms with the statuses of Submitted, Resubmitted, and Approved to open view-only versions of these documents.  

Edit: Click the Edit button next to forms with the status of Draft and Rejected to open these forms for further entry or updates.

Download: Click the Download button beside Approved forms to download a copy to your computer.
